Script writing can look difficult, but as I discovered not too long ago, it isn’t that bad. Using the Courier font. All scripts start with just two words. Right side of the page: FADE IN
Next you go to the left margin and type EXT. for an exterior shot or INT. for an interior shot. Then a scene title goes on the same line with a space between the EXT. or INT. and the title. The next line could be used for a shot. Describe what the scene looks like. I usually skip this. It is formatted the same as an action (next in your script). Next you include an action. What is the character doing? I have yet to see a script that starts with a line. The action goes on the left margin. Starts with a capital letter and ends with a period. Next you will have a line. Starting with a character name on a new line.
